Paper 1 & 2
PAPER 1
A myriad of questions in Paper One are just fundamental questions, as Edexcel wants to see our ability to do basic mathematics. Usually 27-30 questions. The questions start small and progressively get broader.

REMEMBER! These topics are likely to appear in paper one. It's not necessary that they all appear on the exam paper.
PAPER 2
Paper two has broad questions. Usually 10 to 11 questions.

Both papers are 100 marks.
Paper one is for 1.5 hours.
Paper two is for 2.5 hours.
Paper one usually has 26-30 questions, depending on the mark distribution of each question.
Paper two usually has 11-12 questions.
The grades for Mathematics B are 300 marks, even though the total written exam is 200.
